The Phoenix project: operation melt down
The Story:
In the 80ties the US government realized that they would have to take the fight to the manufactures of the illegal drugs. Join the Special Forces, DEA and other agencies battle the well funned and arrogant armies of the Drug Cartel.
Join the staff at paintball Virginia for a fun day of paintball in the spring, with multiply objectives and missions and prizes. Will you be there?
The Phoenix Project (AAR)
The sun came up to a beautiful morning and it was a great day for paintball, the teams and players started to arrive. Registration opened, and during the Game briefing, Severe from Team Rats approached Noah the commanding officer or Dogs of war with a brief case full of money. The money was a payoff to turn on the US Special Forces and become a mercenary unit in charge of everything Cartel. This left the US special forces in the Hands of TombStone the leader of Team River Rats , and he was left in a the chaotic mess left after their general switched sides.

The game briefing ended and this gave the “new” Generals a few seconds to breathe and come up with a plan for their teams to win this game……
As the day progressed it was apparent that the River Rats had a plan that seemed to work very well, and half way through the first session they had built themselves up a good lead, but the cartel was slowly gaining steam and completing missions and hold bases.

After lunch and explaining a couple of rules the game began with a mission to move a case of cocaine, the case wasn’t what the players were thinking; it was a 2 man move. The blue team set up and ran a brilliant ambush leaving them with control of the drugs and gaining even more momentum.
At 4:30 the 2 sides took a short break to get ready for the final battle, it was determined that the final battle would have the Rats Nest deafened by the US special forces and the Cartel would hold up in the old Fort. The battle was hard and in the end the Cartel left the fort unguarded and a lone play from the blue side strolled in and hung their flag in the last few minutes of the game.
The day ended, and everybody looked like they had a smile on their face.
